After the frightening encounter, the man went to the hospital.
According to Khaosod English, the first medical facility examined the wound and estimated it at approximately one centimeter. He was subsequently advised to visit a larger hospital.
At the second hospital, doctors examined him and conducted a blood test to check for possible infection.
Fortunately, the snake was identified as a non-venomous python, meaning the bite did not involve snake venom.
The blood test reportedly came back normal, and he was given antibiotics. He continued to experience some pain around the injured area afterward.

The fact that the python was non-venomous was certainly important, but that did not mean the incident was harmless.
Python bites can still cause significant physical injuries because of the animal’s teeth and the force involved when it bites and holds onto a person.
In this case, the man’s hand was also injured during the struggle as he attempted to control the snake.
The images circulated with the story provide a visual record of the aftermath.
